WALT: identify the equation and solve
Today my teacher gave as a maths question to work on. I found this quite easy. It was also a little boring because you just had to do a maths question.
Here are my answers.
Miss Pownall travels 8 kms to school and 8 kms home each school day.
How far does she travel each week?
8x5=40
2x40=80
80km

If Miss Pownall travels 8km to school and 8km home again, what do you think the equation might be? Your answer is correct for one way, what would you have to do to your equation to find the answer for the distance to and from school?
