Super Stem

We are learning to problem solve as a team. We made a chair out of paper and tap, it had to be 10 cm high or more. My team worked really well as a team. It was a bit challenging because we used a lot of tape and the tape stuck to stuff. Do you know how to build a strong structure?

Tuatara facts.

We are learning to write an explanation about animal life. We had to do research and learn about the animal and write a explanation on our chromebook. What I did well was that I did subtitles  and used good facts and technical language. My next step is to get more detail into my writing. Do you know some stuff about the Tuatara?

Stem For Week 7

Today we did stem. We were learning to work as a team. My team did not do very well. They were not really my group I was in another group but they got in trouble. Sooo I got moved. We need to work better as a team.Me and Kate G did well. My next step is to talk more and not be so serious. Have you ever done this?

Cool Cromebook tip

In my class we have been doing chromebook tips. We had to use screencastify   to video. I liked this tool and am going to use it again. Have you ever done a screencastify?I enjoyed it because there are lots of things I could do like have my face up in the corner.

Sacred, Tapu

WALT: know about Sacred, Tapu. My class each did a goggle drawing on Sacred ,Tapu. I enjoyed taking a photo and coming up with things on how I can respect myself. Is there any thing I missed out on? See photo down the bottom of the page.

Enchanting Escape Room

On Friday we did STEM and the escape room. My group was Elliot , Kalem , Lochy and me. We were in room 4. It was an emotion challenge. We were learning to work as a team. I need to work on making sure everyone had something to do.We worked well together but we got held up from 1 group finding the thing and the other group needing that clue. My group worked well because we all agreed on stuff.I found waiting a challenge. Have you ever done a escape room?

Instructions

In writing we have been learning to write instruction´s. Me and Olive were partners. It kind of looked the same. I think we did well we need to do is work on our instructions. Do you know how to do detailed instructions.

N to the A to the Narrative

In class we have been learning about a narrative .I have learnt you need to have a good plot. I personally think I did well in this I think I got a little stuck in time so at the last few lines I had to rush so I could not put full focus into what I was doing. I am going to try to  add more descriptions. Other than that I did well.  Do you know anything I can work on if there is I am very open to you´re idea´s.

 

Sassy Sunday

We have been learning to describe a character and their like's , dislike's , what they look like and their actions. I think I did well in the describing. I enjoyed describing the character. I found the most challenging thing is the amount of writing I had to write. I have improved by adding information to my text. What descriptive words do you know?  

Te wairua tapu / holy spirit

This term we have been learning about the holy spirit (te wairua tapu)Recently we have made little news clips. We also have leant about the wonders of the holy spirit it came down like flames on the   deciples. There is actully nothing more i want to learn about. What do you know about the holy spirit.

We are learning to write an argument. Each person came up with a product i came up with flying shoes. Persuasive writing it's called. First you come up with a tittle then you came up with a 3 reasons   why your idea is the best idea. And then conclusion. Do you know how to write an argument (say in comments ) It was very fun to make our products and do the video's. It was hard to get in a spot that is not noisy. Thank you for reading.

What is statistic's?

This term room 4 has been learning about statistic's. Statistic's is how you can collect information on a topic. I found collecting the information like getting around my class mate's. Also what i mean by information is putting it into a telly chart, bar graphs and pictographs. It was fun to learn about my class mates. What do you know about statistic's? I also want to learn about the pie graph.

Blazing Holy Spirit.

We have been learning about the holy spirit. Do you know that in Māori the Holy   Spirit is called Te Wairua Tapu? The Trinity  holds God the holy spirit and Jesus. The holy spirit came to the disciples giving them the power to speak different languages. I found this hard because at times you had to do a lot.What do you know about the holy spirit?
